Velora legal
Privacy Notice
Last updated: April 21, 2026
This Privacy Notice explains how Velora collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information during the beta waitlist and early access stage. We are intentionally keeping this notice plain, practical, and specific to the data we actually use today.
Who this notice applies to
This notice applies to visitors who use the Velora beta landing page, join the beta waitlist, verify their email address, or interact with us about early access.
What we collect
- Email address you submit for beta access.
- Optional free-text information such as your exchange and wallet list or portfolio tracking pain points.
- Signup metadata such as consent version, signup timestamp, locale, and best-effort country code when available from trusted edge infrastructure.
- Technical and security-related metadata such as IP-derived security signals, user agent, verification token state, and anti-spam checks.
- Operational records needed to maintain the service, investigate abuse, and troubleshoot delivery issues.
What we use the data for
- To operate the beta waitlist and communicate with you about access, verification, updates, and onboarding.
- To prioritize product decisions, including exchange, wallet, and localization priorities.
- To prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and unauthorized use of the signup flow.
- To maintain platform safety, reliability, and auditability.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to lawful requests when required.
Security and data protection
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or loss. These measures may include encrypted transport, access controls, environment separation, credential management, logging, and least-privilege operational practices.
No internet-based service can promise absolute security. If we become aware of a material security issue affecting your personal data, we will respond based on the nature of the issue and our legal obligations.
How long we keep data
We keep beta waitlist and verification records for as long as needed to operate the beta, evaluate demand, communicate with interested users, protect the service, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, or security requirements. We may retain limited security and audit records longer where reasonably necessary to detect abuse or preserve evidence.
Sharing and service providers
We may use carefully selected infrastructure, hosting, email, logging, and security providers that process information on our behalf under appropriate contractual and operational controls. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share beta signup data with unrelated advertisers.
International use and transfers
Velora may use infrastructure and service providers located in more than one country. As a result, your information may be processed outside your home jurisdiction. Where required, we aim to use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.
At this stage, we do not promise region-specific data residency or strict US-only or EU-only isolation unless we explicitly state that in a separate product or enterprise commitment.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability for certain personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent for certain processing activities where consent is the legal basis.
During the beta stage, the fastest way to exercise a privacy request is to contact us at hello@getvelora.io from the email address associated with your signup.
Legal bases for processing
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, Velora generally relies on one or more of the following: your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the beta program, and compliance with legal obligations.
Children
Velora is not directed to children, and the beta signup flow is not intended for use by minors under the age required by applicable law to provide valid consent.
Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice as the product, infrastructure, and legal posture evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
